This four-week series (appropriate for ages 8-12) will inspire close reading and rich discussion of world literature using the Shared Inquiry method. BEETLEJUICE – Thanks to the carelessness of a cute little dog, newlyweds Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin are killed in a freak auto accident. Upon arriving in the outer offices of Heaven, the couple finds that, thanks to a century’s worth of bureaucratic red tape, they’re on a long celestial waiting list. Video Shooting Basics for Grades 9-12. 6:30pm-8:30pm. Libbie Mill Library. Do you enjoy making fun videos with your friends? Want to learn how to make them even better? If yes, then this is the class for you! In this workshop we’ll discuss shooting tips and tricks to get you started as well as different camera shots and how to use them. You’ll get a chance to put your new skills to the test while creating your own video in class! Registration is required. Students are encouraged to bring their own recording devices if possible, (digital camera, camera phone, tablet, etc. – anything that can record video will work!). Free.
