EYPC Mentoring Group is a group of women and men who desires to assist youth in developing a positive future. EYPC Mentoring Group is a 501C-3. Our youth mentoring group is based on priority health risk behaviors that contribute to morbidity and mortality among today’s youth.

Mission:

The Mission of EYPC Mentoring Group is to build trusting relationships that encourage and support youth to be successful in their future endeavors. Positive change is not only possible, but expected when youth and their families work to solve their difficulties together.

What are Mentoring Group Services?

Therapeutic Mentoring Group program is a community based program for children with a clinical diagnosis that calls for intensive training in daily living, social or communication skills. These needs can be met in their natural settings such as school cafeterias, at after school activities, around the dinner table, or anywhere that thoughtful but firm coaching can be done to assist them to overcome their limitations and improve their overall social functioning.

Program Goals

EYPC Mentoring Group has three principal program goals:

  • Reduce juvenile delinquency and gang participation by at-risk youth.
  • Improve academic performance of at-risk youth.
  • Reduce the dropout rate for at-risk youth through the establishment of one-to-one mentoring.
