Empowering one Family at a time.

Empowering Youth for Positive Change (EYPC) is an organization licensed by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services to provide Intensive – In-Home Services, Therapeutic Day Treatment Services, Mental Health Skill Building Services, Outpatient Therapy, and Mentoring. Our agency has been licensed with DBHDS since 2011 and serves the Central Virginia and Northern Tidewater Area.

EYPC is affiliated with both the Henrico and Middle Peninsula Northern Neck Local Human Rights Committees and since the inception of our services, has always remained in good standing. In July 2015, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), surveyed and issued Empowering Youth for Positive Change a 3-year accreditation, which speaks to the efficiency of our program and practices.

The professional relationships that we’ve already built with the legal and corrections communities from Richmond to the Northern Tidewater Area are indicative of our sincere desire to cultivate holistic partnerships. EYPC was founded on one principle “Empowering one Family at a time.”

Our Mission

The mission of Empowering Youth for Positive Change (EYPC) is to provide effective community-based mental health services to individuals who are experiencing significant behavioral and/or emotional challenges due to a documented mental health diagnosis.

Our Moto

“Empowering One Family at a Time.”

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple: All individuals deserve an opportunity to succeed in society, no matter what walk of life. With support from EYPC and other community resources, positive change is not only possible but expected when clients and their families work to solve their difficulties together.
